Hope Grows Strong in Praise

Reading: Romans 4:18-21

Devotional: The secret to building faith isn't found in trying harder—it's discovered in praising louder. Abraham "grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God." When we worship, serve, give, and use our gifts for God's glory, something supernatural happens: our awareness shifts from our inadequacy to His sufficiency. Hopelessness always focuses inward; hopefulness always focuses upward. When you feel a scarcity of hope, it's actually a symptom of misplaced focus. The cure isn't manufacturing positive feelings, but redirecting your gaze to God's greatness, His goodness, His perfection. Praise isn't denying reality—it's being unconvinced by reality's loudest voices because you're listening to God's truest voice.
