JOURNEY STUDENTS

(7TH–12TH GRADES)

WHAT IS JOURNEY SUMMER OFFLINE

Journey Summer Offline is a laid-back summer experience designed to help you grow in faith and community without the usual production. Some nights will feature acoustic worship and discussion-driven Bible studies where you’ll gather around tables able to share what you’re learning, led by the student pastor and other adult leaders. Other nights will be all about fun, with game tournaments and team-building activities—creating space for real connection and lasting memories.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to reach the hearts of students who don't yet know Jesus. We do this by equipping leaders, fostering a community built on honor and positivity, fun, and encouraging a spirit of service. We believe in partnering with parents to ensure students can experience and extend these values, transforming their lives and the lives of others.

OUR VISION

Where We're Going:  Our goal, as a ministry, is to grow students spiritually, and that starts with connecting them to Jesus first (Evangelism)! From there we impress the importance of growing together to create a community that builds up one another (unity). We become more like Jesus when we can put ourselves last and serve those around us. Jesus came to serve, we are also called to serve (Serve).

How We Get There:  The main avenues we've created to accomplish this are through our small groups, Wednesday experience, big events, serving the community, and telling our stories. each one of these is intentionally designed to drive us toward our goals to Evangelize, grow in unity, and serve.

Our Culture:  Culture is the foundation for all we do! Culture is dictated by our character. We regularly encourage and provide opportunities for students to cultivate the Fruits of the Spirit (Gal 5:22-23) in their lives. These Fruits, in the lives of our students, help dictate the culture of this ministry.
