WHAT IS THE VENTURE MEMBERSHIPCLASS?
Our Membership Class is where we get to know each other, share our stories, and discuss ways you can get connected, be cared for, and find a place to serve at Venture. We’ll talk through our Mission, Vision, Values, and Essential Beliefs, and how to find your place at Venture.
The whole class revolves around our Venture FlyWheel and how it works in tandem with our Venture RoundTables and our GreaterWorks Initiatives.
Our Membership Class paves the pathway to Gospel Partnership – because we believe we are better together!
Through Small Group connections and meaningful serving opportunities, we aim to help you find your people and discover where your gifts can be used as part of God's Plan for your life!
We believe God is building and growing His church here at Venture, and we are honored to be a part of it - and we’re thrilled that He may be calling you to be a part of it too!
There are 3 steps in our membership process, each designed to help paint a good picture of what it would mean for us to partner together in The Gospel!

STEP ONE
GET TO KNOW VENTURE
This is the starting step. You’ll hear our story, explore our mission and vision, and learn what we believe and value. It’s a no-strings-attached conversation about where Venture is heading and a chance to explore what partnering with God’s mission might look like for you.
STEP TWO
GROW WITH VENTURE
This is the second step in our membership path and focuses on discovering how God has uniquely created you. Together, we explore your spiritual gifts, talents, abilities, and personality so you can see how God has intentionally formed you for purpose. As these pieces come together, you’ll gain clarity about your God-given calling and discover where you can thrive and serve within the Venture family.
STEP THREE
GO WITH VENTURE
This is the third step in our membership path and brings together everything you've learned from 101 and 201 as we help you find your fit within the Venture family. We want to make sure that you can get connected, be cared for, and can find a place to serve - Step3 is designed to check all of those boxes!

1 Corinthians 12:12-14
12 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit. 14 For the body does not consist of one member but of many.
Philippians 1:3-6
3 I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, 4 always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. 6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 3:14-19
14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Ephesians 4:11-12, 16
11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, … 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
