We know it can be intimidating visiting a new church for the first time, especially when that church is meeting in a school! Let us help ease your mind a bit. Below you can find out exactly what to expect when you walk in the door, learn more about our Venture Kids ministry and see what they will be learning, and watch one of our recent sermons so you can get a feel for our services. You can even complete a connection card right here!

You are our honored guest and we cannot wait to meet you! When you arrive on campus, there will be plenty of smiling faces ready to greet you, answer any of your questions, and help you get to where you need to go. WELCOME CENTER
After each service please visit us at the Welcome Center, located in the back of the auditorium. Our Campus Pastor, Roger Walls, would love to meet you there and introduce you to some of our friendly Venture NorthWest leaders! We'll be ready to greet you and answer any questions you have. We also have a bag full of free Venture gear waiting for you!
STAYING IN TOUCH
We would love to stay connected and help you find ways to plug in or even answer any additional questions you may have. That’s why filling out a Connect Card is so important. You can fill one out during your visit or you can fill one out now before you even arrive.

- When you arrive on campus, one of our Team Members will escort you to our Venture Kids space.
- You'll notice some friendly faces at the check-in stations ready to help you and your kids feel right at home.
- After your kids get checked in, you are welcome to take a tour of the kids ministry area and meet our Venture Kids leaders to help you feel at ease during the service.

Journey, our student ministry, currently meets at 6:30 pm each Wednesday at our Keller Campus (801 Keller Parkway).
WHAT OUR SERVICES ARE LIKE
THE TEACHING
Our teaching is first and foremost based on the solid foundation of God’s word, the Bible. Each week you can expect the truth of God to be taught in ways that will encourage you while also challenging you to grow spiritually.

OUR WORSHIP STYLE
Our worship is very contemporary and is prayerfully produced each week, with mostly volunteers, with one goal in mind… to usher in the life-changing presence of God. Every aspect of worship, from the lighting, the graphics, and the music, is planned with this in mind.

What are the service times?
We meet every Sunday at J.C Thompson Elementary, in Haslet, at 9:30 am.
Where do I park?
Our parking lot is behind the school, off of Serrano Ridge Dr. We keep the spots closest to the entry doors open for guests.
Where do I go when I get there?
We enter through the doors facing the rear parking lot at JC Thompson Elementary. We have teams of people in place ready to greet you and make sure you know exactly where to go! Simply look for a smiling face wearing a Venture NorthWest t-shirt - they'll be able help you find your way, get your kiddos checked-in, grab a cup of coffee, and find a seat in the auditorium.
What should I wear
Don’t feel like you have to dress up. Most people wear casual attire, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable.
How do I give?

Is there something for my kids?
During our 10 am service, we offer specially designed worship services for children in grades K-3 and another for children in grades 4-6. Each service is designed to engage children in their specific age group. In addition, we offer an exciting and engaging program, for ages birth–5 years, designed to help lay a biblical foundation.
Your child’s safety and experience are really important to us. Your child will be registered and given a name tag with a code. You will be given a tag with your child’s unique code so you can know that you’ll be the only one allowed to pick up your child after service.
Is there something for my teens?
Journey, our student ministry is designed for students in grades 7th–12th grade and currently meets at our Keller Campus, 801 Keller Parkway. Click here for more info and feel free to connect with our Student Pastor, Travis Putty.
How long is each service
Services last about one hour. We start by singing three to four songs, which are followed by a sermon. If you want to see our preaching style, check out our current series.
If you’re visiting for the first time, we want to know! You are a very important person to us! So please fill out a communication card or stop by the Guest Center. We’d love to meet you and answer any questions you may have.
